All Ultimate Dance, despite its generic title, is fairly focused, with each one of its selections a significant club hit released during the '90s. Spread across two discs, the set is not mixed and displays the rather broad stylistic range of the decade's club music. Some of the more enduring tracks here include Pebbles' "Giving You the Benefit," Lil' Louis & the World's "French Kiss," Bell Biv DeVoe's "Poison," Zhané's "Hey Mr. DJ," Ce Ce Peniston's "Finally," Lisa Lisa & Cult Jam's "Let the Beat Hit 'Em," and Crystal Waters' "100 Pure Love." Chumbawamba, Los del Rio, OMC, Lou Bega, Rednex, and a few other artists responsible for the most annoying (or simply played into the ground) hits of the decade, are also present.
