What does the Backstage
Pass membership cost and how long does it last?
The Backstage Pass membership fee is $25 per year. Membership
expires one year after purchase, on the day after you initially purchased
your Backstage Pass card.
What does my Backstage
Pass membership get me?
An additional 10% off purchases at Suncoast stores,
Exclusive Member-only offers and discounts via email *Backstage
Pass Members do not receive discounts on the purchase of Gift Cards,
Gift Coins, Backstage Pass membership fee, iPod units, Game Hardware and
Tickets. The discount will be applied after all other deductions are
accounted for. The Backstage Pass membership card cannot be
used for discounts at samgoody.com.
Can I use the Backstage
Pass Member Card in all Suncoast stores?
The card may be used to get discounts at all Suncoast. Backstage Pass Member discounts
are not applicable at samgoody.com.
What information do I
have to give you to become a Backstage Pass Member?
All you need to supply is your name, mailing address, phone number,
date of birth and email address. In order to assist us in tailoring
the Backstage Pass Member Program to better serve you, we may
also ask you for other information from time to time.
Can I just pay you the
$25 and get the Backstage Pass Member Card?
We request your personal information so that we can provide the best
possible customer service and deliver your Backstage Pass Member
benefits. If you should lose your Backstage Pass Member Card
or require other assistance from the Backstage Pass Customer
Service, we will be limited in the help we can provide if there is
no Backstage Pass Member profile in your account. In order for
you to receive special offers and discounts, it is important for you
to provide us with your name, address, and email address, so we can
deliver these exclusive Backstage Pass Member-only benefits
to you.
What if I join now but
decide later that I no longer want to be a Backstage Pass Member?
Can I get a refund on the portion of the Backstage Pass membership
that has not expired?
If you purchased your Backstage Pass membership at a Suncoast store, you may cancel the Backstage Pass
membership at that store, but you will only receive a full refund
if cancellation is requested within the same day of the purchase date.
A receipt is required. After the one day, Backstage Pass membership
fees are non-refundable. Partial refunds of the Backstage Pass
membership fee are not available.
How will I know when
my Backstage Pass membership expires?
We will contact you prior to your renewal date to remind you that
your Backstage Pass membership is about to expire provided that
contact information is available in your Backstage Pass Member
profile.
How much is the renewal
cost?
There is an annual $25 Backstage Pass membership fee.

How
Your Discount Works
Does the discount apply
to everything in Suncoast stores, with a few
exceptions? What about online at www.samgoody.com?
The discount applies to purchases throughout Suncoast stores. Members do not receive discounts on Gift Cards, Gift Coins,
Tickets, iPod units, Game Hardware and the Backstage Pass Member Program
fee. At www.suncoast.com, Backstage Pass Members will not receive
discounts. The discount cannot be combined
with any other group or organizational discount (e.g., Student Advantage,
corporate discounts, etc.).
Is this discount added
to the discount already existing on bestsellers and sale items?
Yes. For example, a store CD discounted 20% off of list price to
all customers will be sold at an additional 10% discount to
Backstage Pass Members. The Backstage Pass Member discount
will be applied after all other discounts and deductions have been
applied to the purchase.
How do I get my discount
when shopping in stores?
To receive your discount, simply provide your Backstage Pass
Member Card at the register. Your discount is automatically applied
to all valid purchases.
How will I get my
discount when shopping online?
At this time the Backstage Pass Member discount is not available
for purchases made on samgoody.com.
If I join today,
will I receive my discount on today's purchase?
Yes, you receive your discount immediately.
I bought a large
number of CDs here yesterday (last week, last month). Can I return
them and repurchase them with the Backstage Pass Member discount?
Purchases made prior to entry into the Backstage Pass Member
Program or without a Backstage Pass Member number will not
be credited a retroactive refund.
Can anyone use my
Backstage Pass Member Card to receive the discount in the
store?
Your Backstage Pass Member Card is non-transferable and for
your use only.
What if I don't have
my Backstage Pass Member Card with me in the store? Can you
look up my Backstage Pass Member number? Will I still get
my discount?
Your Backstage Pass Member Card is the access to your benefits,
and it is important that you carry it with you to receive your discounts
in the store. If you happen to forget your Backstage Pass
Member Card, and have completed a Backstage Pass Member profile,
we can retrieve your Backstage Pass Member information in
the store at checkout.
My discount wasn't
applied to an online order. Why?
At this time the Backstage Pass Member discount is not available
for purchases made on suncoast.com.
Renewing Your Backstage Pass membership
How can I renew
my Backstage Pass membership?
Renewing your active or expired membership can be done in a Suncoast store. Your renewed membership will begin
once your current active membership has expired. Note that in order
to keep track of your total Backstage Pass Member savings
and your purchase history, its important to renew your current account
rather than purchase a new Backstage Pass membership when
your current one expires.
How can I ensure
uninterrupted service with Backstage Pass membership?
Simply renew before your annual membership is up. This can be done
at any Suncoast store.

Your Privacy
What does Backstage Pass Member Program do with the information I enter? Is
it distributed to other companies?
Your privacy is important to us. It is our policy not to sell or
rent customer information to anyone outside Suncoast and suncoast.com. Please refer to our privacy
policy.
I am interested
in the Backstage Pass Member benefits, but I don't want to
be placed on a mailing list or receive unwanted emails. Can I become
a Backstage Pass Member and be assured that does not occur?
You may select to opt out of all communications, but you would miss
out on Backstage Pass Member-only special offers and discounts,
an exclusive benefit of Backstage Pass membership.
How can I opt
out of receiving email or direct mail offers?
You can also opt out of email by following the directions at the
bottom of every email message we send.

Member Account Information
Can I have a second
Backstage Pass Member card for my account?
At this time, we do not offer more than one Backstage Pass
Member card per account.
What do I do if
I lose my Backstage Pass Member card?
You may request a new card by contacting Customer Service using
